Description
PWM DC Motor Speed Controller 12V-40V 10A Module
A straightforward rotary potentiometer controller that can regulate a DC motor’s speed up to 400 W at 12 to 40 volts. The DC Motor Speed Controller controls the direction of a DC motor by using a pulse-width modulated (PWM) DC voltage with a duty cycle that can be adjusted from 10% to 100%. A DC motor or other DC load can receive up to 8 amps of continuous current from the motor speed controller. The circuit also includes a 10A fuse that has over-voltage protection for the control voltage as well as a reverse power supply connection. This is a simple, low-cost project to control a DC motor’s speed linearly for specific, focused uses. Usually, pulse-width modulation, or PWM, is utilized to DC motor speed. When the pulse width is fixed, the motor speed remains constant; when the pulse width varies, the motor speed varies as well. For this project, a cheap Audio Uno board with minimal external components is used. At the moment of switch-on, the circuit modifies the linear speed variation using forward-reverse control.
Features:
- This controller allows you to regulate the speed of a DC motor.
- High torque, low heat generation, and high efficiency.
- With protection from high current and reverse polarity.
- Control voltage over-voltage protection function
