Description
Transmissive Optical switch sensor with Phototransistor Output photo interrupter sensor
This transmissive sensor is housed in a leaded container that blocks visible light and has an infrared emitter and phototransistor positioned face-to-face on the optical axes. The photo diode’s logic level shifts when the IR LED’s light emission is obstructed by alternating slots on the encoder disc. This change in logic level is detectable by the discrete hardware or microcontroller.

- Incorporates an IC chip with a built-in detector element and amplifier
- Incorporates a detector element with a built-in temperature compensation circuit.
- Daylight blocking filter
